Definitely one of my favorite quotes by Henry Ford. As for designing within your own target market, for me, it make the job much more enjoyable as well!

[...] Russell Davies spoke about this project of his at last year’s very inspiring dConstruct conference, dubbed Newspaper Club. His team have come up with a way to use commercial newspaper production facilities to produce bespoke newspapers for whoever wants to give it a go. As a designer and admirer of good newspaper design, I’m super intrigued by the idea. “‘Post-digital’ is a term coined by planner/blogger Russell Davies to describe the way in which smart digital and online behaviours have begun to make their presence felt in the real world, on real, tangible objects. It’s not hard to see the appeal of this concept after years of flash-heavy microsites, and of ‘traditional’ vs. ‘digital’ silos: a distinction rendered increasingly obsolete by the swelling ranks of a younger generation for whom such boundaries are meaningless.” [...]

You really saved my day.
Everytime you try to call a function to an element that does not exist with Query, Firebug reports a "F is not defined" error. Using your function in a slightly different way, i can avoid this error. Many thanks for sharing!

As long as you stop following the pointless ranters, then twitter is great way to keep up with the feeling of others who also live on the internets (as opposed to normal people, who's feelings we don't care about at all)

It also took me a while to find the benefits of using Twitter too. I'm glad I joined up though! I find lots of useful resources and articles from all sorts of networks and it's certainly pulling more visitors to my website too! (Another benefit right there :) )

I've just started using Tweetdeek after some a good recommendation from someone I know very well ;) and I agree that it's a great little application!

Having put a little Twitter feed on my website also keeps my visitors up to date there as well! So yes there's lots and lots of ways to use Twitter. :)

Well said Henry! I do agree. I am loving my first few days of twittering about food. :)

It's a definite tool for publishing your thoughts and snippets of ideas for things too.

There was this guy see.
He wasn't very bright and he reached his adult life without ever having learned "the facts".
Somehow, it gets to be his wedding day.
While he is walking down the isle, his father tugs his sleeve and says,

"Son, when you get to the hotel room...Call me"

Hours later he gets to the hotel room with his beautiful blushing bride and he calls his father,

"Dad, we are the hotel, what do I do?"

"O.K. Son, listen up, take off your clothes and get in the bed, then she should take off her clothes and get in the bed, if not help her. Then either way, ah, call me"

A few moments later...

"Dad we took off our clothes and we are in the bed, what do I do?"

O.K. Son, listen up. Move real close to her and she should move real close to you, and then... Ah, call me."

A few moments later...

"DAD! WE TOOK OFF OUR CLOTHES, GOT IN THE BED AND MOVED REAL CLOSE, WHAT DO I DO???"

"O.K. Son, Listen up, this is the most important part. Stick the long part of your body into the place where she goes to the bathroom."

A few moments later...

"Dad, I've got my foot in the toilet, what do I do?"
