Just a quick one to share some great posts on people’s sites I’ve read lately.
Over at The Weekly Standards Adam talks about web design crutches, those techniques and styles you fall back on when all else fails or when you’ve just given up trying.
Don’t I know about it. I’m up-front with mine, hence the title of my blog (don’t care what anyone says, well executed gradients RULE).
Next on the list, the ever-respectable Dan at SimpleBits shares his kickass techniques of producing lush icons in The Anatomy of an Icon. Great! I always thought iconography would be easy until I zoomed in and tried my hand at it. This certainly helps.
